Instructional Designer with a passion for creating unique and impactful trainings.
Showcasing skills can be tricky. I wanted a quick way to demonstrate my skills in multiple tools and had the thought "What if I made an Apple-style commercial for my skills?" This one-minute video showcases my skills in Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, and Camtasia.
All the lessons in the video were created by me.

When most people think of corporate training, they aren't thinking of entertaining, impactful, or unique experiences. They are thinking of the same old infodumps that have been around since the early days of Instructional Design.
Engaging lessons aren't about making work fun; they break up the tedium and force learners to shift their focus back to the lesson. I believe that a focused, engaged learner is more likely to understand the skill or concept we are trying to impart to them.
Here is an example of taking something people might find tedious (making an emergency kit) and reimagining it in a more creative way.
I had two objectives: to help the learner understand what should be in an emergency kit and to encourage the learner to actually create an emergency kit.

There is sound for ambiance but the lesson can be completed muted.
If you need creative, engaging lessons or an experienced learning experience designer, I would love to work with you! I am open to full-time positions and consultation work.
